We adopted Duchie from Angel Paws Iberia. We instantly loved her. She was a small but mighty little kitten. She was the best snuggler and loved on everyone. She was playful and very chill. The perfect kitten. Unfortunately, her medical issues were too extreme. Her issues started quickly. She needed to be dewormed several times and then eventually medically stabilized. After several trips to the ER and extensive testing, it was discovered she had diabetes at 7 months old. She was tolerating 2 shots a day. In her final days, she ate something plastic and it perforated her bowels and she got septic. It was an unexpected and sudden death. We loved her so much and we are heartbroken by her passing.
