Molly was an 8-year-old mixed-breed girl whom we found abandoned with three other dogs in March 2020, just as COVID changed the world. We were able to find loving homes for the other three dogs, but Molly had completely captured our hearts, and we knew she belonged with us.

She spent the rest of her life living her best country life—chasing squirrels, running freely, splashing in the pond, and playing to her heart’s content. Molly was the most loyal, loving companion and the very best sister to our other two dogs.

Just a few days before Molly’s passing, she seemed perfectly happy and healthy. Then she began acting unlike herself. She no longer rushed to greet us when we drove up and only wanted to lie down and rest. Concerned, we brought her to the veterinary clinic, where we learned she had suffered a ruptured tumor. Faced with that heartbreaking diagnosis, the kindest and most humane decision was to let her go peacefully. So, on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, Molly gained her angel wings.

We are devastated by the sudden loss of our sweet “Molly Pop”. While we take comfort in knowing she is no longer in pain, the emptiness left behind is difficult to put into words. Molly brought so much love, joy, and companionship into our lives, and her absence is deeply felt. We will miss her every day, but we will forever cherish the memories she gave us and the unconditional love she shared so freely.

REST IN PEACE, MOLLY POP! Until we meet again!
