Masala. He has the sweetest and kindest big brown eyes. We found him for adoption as a five month old, brown pit-lab mix. He was a gentle and loving boy. He loved a good belly rub. He had many nicknames; Masilly, Masaly, and Masalanator to name a few.
He lived in two different states and three different cities. He saw four little humans grow from babies to little kids. He survived a house fire a month and five days prior that took his Jack Russel brother, Rocco.
In that month and five days he enjoyed lots of love from his little people. He didn’t suffer long. In just three short days, he was diagnosed with angiosarcoma. His last meal, on a Monday evening, just happened to be a ribeye.
He was surrounded by loved ones on that Tuesday evening at the after hours vet. We all cried as we said our goodbye. He was greeted at heaven’s gates by faces he recognized from here on earth; Zuleika (7/13/2016) the kitty, Bailey girl (October 2, 2022) his ride or die, and Rocco (February 13, 2025). He is survived by Zara the Vizsla.
Sweet Masala, you were so loved. I can only imagine how much you are missed
